Material presented and status of presentation

The case presentations begin with a schedule that identifies decisions by country, by jurisdiction within each country, and by CISG articles at issue in each case. Presentations are being prepared for each case. They may be accessed by clicking on the Case search form. These presentations, which are at this time only partially completed, contain Case identification, Case classification, and Case citation information. The intent is to provide hypertext links to cited abstracts of cases, texts of cases, and commentaries on the cases. An extensive collection of English translations of texts of cases will also be provided.

The case law segment of the database is a sharing of data on case law by Professor Michael R. Will of the University of Geneva and the Pace Law School Institute of International Commercial Law and by other colleagues. We are also grateful to be able to draw upon case material provided by members of the autonomous network of CISG websites.
