November 1997:
This feature has been implemented using the University of Colorado's
Harvest System Software.
Sites search are:
- The CISG online Project, maintained by the Institute of Foreign
and International Private Law (Dept. I) at the
University of Freiburg, Germany.
- The CISG France Database edited by Professor Claude Witz.
- The CISG W3 Database of the Pace University School of Law.
- The International Trade Law Monitor at the University of
Tromsx.
- The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law
(UNCITRAL) Website.
- The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law
(Unidroit) Website.
Please note:
The Pace University Law School's Institute of International Commercial
Law maintains its cases in HTML
and in Web-accessible directories. As such, the Institute's cases are
available on this system, and can be
indexed on or linked to from anybody else's Web-based search engine.
Certain sites, however, require the
searcher to go to their site and use their search engine to access their
database material.
January 1997:
Automatic search links for cases interpreting articles of the CISG.
We have just added a new feature in the section entitled:
Information related to Article ___ in the Article by Article
presentation of the CISG. The new feature is an automatic search
link that searches the case presentations entered in our database and
retrieves all case presentations discussing the article in question.
Although our case presentations do not yet include the entire
universe of CISG cases, this automated link should be a great help in
finding many cases on point.
