I accept the invitation to participate as an arbitrator in the Seventh Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, to be held in Vienna, Austria from 14 to 20 April 2000.

If there are times you would prefer not to hear arguments, please cross out. [Arguments in the General Rounds, Saturday through Tuesday,15-18 April, will be scheduled at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning and at 13:00 and 15:00 in the afternoon.]

p I would like to participate in the evaluation of 3 or 4 memoranda for claimant and for respondent. Receipt of claimants’ memoranda can be expected in late December and evaluations will be needed by 21 January 2000. Receipt of respondents’ memoranda can be expected about 23 February 2000 and evaluations will be needed by 10 March 2000.

p I would like to participate in the final ranking of the memoranda for claimant. Receipt of 10 to 15 memoranda can be expected about 28 January 2000. Final ranking would be requested by 23 February 2000.

p I would like to participate in the final ranking of the memoranda for respondent. Receipt of 10 to 15 memoranda can be expected about 17 March 2000. Final ranking would be needed by 7 April 2000.

p I would be interested in a typical Viennese Heurigen evening at approximately ATS 500 per person, probably on Tuesday, 18 April 2000. Please reserve ____ places.
