Recipient of the International Affairs Award of the New York State Bar Association, he is Executive Secretary of the Institute of International Commercial Law at Pace University School of Law and co-editor of the Electronic Library on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and International Contract Law. The South Korea page is edited by Danielle Choi, Pace University School of Law, J.D. The purposes of the Institute are to promote public understanding of International Commercial Law in South Korea, support and promote trade with South Korea within the CISG guidelines by providing background on the CISG as applied in South Korean courts, and to encourage scholars and practitioners to publish their works here to establish a publicly-available knowledge and opinion resource. The Institute provides a database on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienne Convention 1980) (CISG), on Arbitration as a method of dispute resolution, and on other International Commercial Law materials in English and Korean, in addition to issues of importance to neighboring East Asian nations. This database is complied by the submissions of many prominent scholars and legal practitioners in South Korea and is under the editorship of Danielle Choi, Esq. with the cooperation of the Institute of International Commercial Law at Pace University School of Law.
